May 12

Tuesday:

This week’s social emotional skills review is about the Zones of Regulation. There are 4 zones: Blue, Green, Yellow and Red. Each zone is associated with different emotions. The “green zone” is the “just right zone” that we want to try to keep our emotions in as much as possible. Being in a different zone will happen sometimes and that is definitely okay. This Zones of Regulation lesson reviews with students what strategies they can use to help themselves feel better if they are experiencing other emotions.

Now, let’s go to LETTERLAND!

The letter of the week this week is Z. We can’t believe it’s our last letter in Letterland!
Letter: Z
Letterlander: Zig Zag Zebra
Handwriting Without Tears Letter Formation: "Little line across, big line diagonal slide down, little line across”
