Wednesday:
Read Aloud with Miss Lauren: A Tree is Nice
Story Comprehension Questions:
What happens to trees in the fall?
What can you do with leaves in the fall?
What is something you can do with a tree? (lots of answers from the story)
Who laid in the shade when it was hot?
Who took a nap in the shade under the tree?
When do leaves fall off the trees? (put on your thinking caps for this one!)
Journal Prompt Ideas:
1) What would you do if you had a GIANT tree in your backyard?
2) What is something you can do to help keep the earth clean and healthy?
- Grab some paper and some crayons
- Draw a picture to answer the journal prompt
- Tell a family member some words to write about your picture or try writing some of your own words!
