Things to do | George enjoyed roasting marshmallows in this story! Use the link below to have your child cut and glue the number of marshmallows they’d like to roast. Once they’re done, they can write the number of marshmallows they roasted. If your child wants to roast more than 10 marshmallows, they can draw additional marshmallows on their paper! | Flashlight Hunt- Use a flashlight to find different letters or numbers in your house. Can you find the letters that appear in your name? Write down or trace the letters or numbers that you find! | Take a “hike” in your neighborhood or house and go on a scavenger hunt! See if you can find the following, and then try to find a second item that starts with the same letter: Tree, T Bush, B Mud, M Path, P Whistle, W Snack, S Fuzz / something that’s fuzzy, F | Camping Sort: Print the template and pictures below. Cut the pictures and sort them into two groups; things that you bring camping and things that you do not bring camping. If you do not have a printer, you can do this verbally! Bonus Activity: Build a tent in your living room using pillows and blankets! Is there anything else from the list of things that you bring camping that you can bring into your tent? | Using an empty paper towel roll (cut in half) or two empty toilet paper rolls, make some binoculars! Using paint, markers, stickers or anything else you want, decorate the binoculars. You may glue or tape the two pieces together and attach a string if you would like to wear your binoculars around your neck. Using your binoculars, see if you can find different shapes outside!
