Letterland apps and Letter information

Letterland Apps for the iPad or iPhone: THESE APPS ARE NOW FREE
  • “Letterland Rainbow Write”
    • In this app, you can use your finger or a stylus to “rainbow write” (just like we do in the classroom) the uppercase and lower case letters, all of which appear on the screen with their Letterlander! The app also tells you each Letterlander’s name and sound.
  • “Letterlander Stories”
    • **Disclosure** This is actually 10 different apps broken into letter groups. A and Z are in an app alone (called Letterland Stories A and Letterland Stories Z) and the rest of the letters are broken into groups of 3 (e.g., “Letterland Stories BCD).
    • Each app contains a story about the Letterlander, comprehension questions about the story, letter tracing, and a few other activities!
  • “Letterland Quick Dash”
    • This app names each letter, Letterlander, sound, and a few words that start with that letter.

Letters the Busy Bees and Cub Cadets have done so far this year:
A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V

Remaining letters in the order we will do them (in case anyone wants a sneak peak):
M (Munching Mike)
N (Noisy Nick)
W (Walter Walrus)
X (Fix-It Max)
Y (Yellow Yo-yo Man)
Z (Zig Zag Zebra)
