Gravity Concept Today

This week our class will be exploring STEM concepts to participate in STEM week. Today we discussed gravity. We learned that the Earth has a force that pulls us down “like a magnet”. Using two different objects we observed how a heavy and a light object fell to the ground. (A weighted blanket and a balloon) We learned the heavier an object the fast it fell and the lighter object fell slower. We also explored gravity during choice time. We painted on a straight surface and observed how the paint went down. We also watched marbles roll down marble ramps.  Ask your child today about these activities.
